How can this be? Like every great thing, it's all in the preparation and the Half-Day Website Guide is the key. You will be guided through the process and won't have to think too much. This is how it works:

  1. The Discovery Call: we talk for half an hour to discuss your needs and if the Half-Day Website is the right thing for your project.

  2. The Half-Day Website Guide: You and your team will fill in the Website Guide. This is the place to collect all the information needed to create the one-page website that is ready to slot into your marketing efforts

  3. Launch Day: Starting first thing in the morning we will have a quick strategy call (30 minutes maximum) then it's time to start working. We will be on an open channel all morning getting the page live.

  4. Day 2 and Beyond: You will have managed premium hosting on our servers. This means that your site is hosted in a state-of-the-art fast and secure environment designed specifically for its needs. We maintain updates to the software as needed and monitor for any downtime. You also get 14 days of email support.

Package Cost

Website & Managed Hosting

  • $500 to book the build day. This includes discovery, design, and the build of the full one-page website with all content and functionality as agreed.
  • $60 per month for 12 months of managed hosting. This includes premium hosting, uptime monitoring, maintenance of software licenses, spam protection, and software updates. Billed beginning 30 days from signed agreement.

Total cost: $1220

  • Accessibility functionality: $50 per year
  • Additional time for future work: $75 per hour
Do I have to host my website with you?

Yes, this service is only offered with managed hosting on our servers. Be assured, though, that you own your website, all the content, and the URL. If, after one year, you decide you wish to move somewhere else we will make sure you have all the information you need to do that.

How do I know the Half Day Website is the right thing?

You will need to be honest with yourself, asking if this way of working is best for you. This is a sprint that is focused on done, not perfect. If you like to work at a quick pace, can make decisions quickly, can prioritize the project, and can get the prep work done, this is a great process for you. If your preference is to examine every detail, take time to make decisions, and look at a variety of options, this process is not going to be a good fit. We can discuss other ways we may be able to meet your needs.

What if I can't get the prep work done on time?

We will book your build day far enough ahead to allow time for the homework. We have all had life happen in the middle of our plans, so we allow for that. The build day can be rescheduled one time. If the work is not completed by the rescheduled date, then that build morning and the booking fee will be forfeited. We can restart the whole process later.

Can this really be done in half a day?

Yes it can, but rare hiccups do happen. If we find that we need to adjust (say you decide you would like different colors) we will assess the change together and decide what will have to go to accommodate the change. I will ask if this is a must for launch or can be changed later. Remember, we are working towards done, not perfect.

What if we don't finish?

If the program has been followed and all the prep work is done this should not happen. If it does, you have the option of booking another day or half-day to finish up what could not be done in one session.

What if I want to make changes after the launch?

That sounds great! Once the site is launched, we will ensure that you understand how to log in, make changes to content, and the other things you will need to know for day-to-day operations. If you would rather have us make the changes, we can do that at our regular hourly rate.  Remember, this is your website. You own all of it.

Do I pay all at once?

The cost to book the day is due in full at the time of booking. Likewise, any addons will be billed at the same time on the same invoice. You can pay ahead for the year of managed hosting if you wish and receive a discount of $10 per month.
